EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Long Term Contract




  • Need for Real Property Project Manager with the knowledge and experience in managing small and large office accommodation projects.
  • Managing office accommodation projects in the federal government environment encompassing client requirements gathering and analysis, providing advice/making recommendations on design options and schedules, proposing material and finishes, giving presentations to clients and senior management, writing project briefs/status reports/proposals, coordinating project activities with the various trades;
  • Providing space design options, activity schedules, financial estimates, contracting/procurement coordination, budget tracking and reporting;
  • Providing advice and making recommendations to mitigate any non-conformity with Federal Real Property, PWGSC and TB policies, guidelines and regulations which will require further action or discussions and justifications.

Required Skills

  • College diploma or a university degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Facilities Management or another relevant field
  • 5 years of experience in Project Management
  • 1 or more of the following: Project Management Institute (PMI), Accreditation from Project Management Association of Canada (PMAC), Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) or Real Property Administrator (RPA)
  • Experience with AutoCad (2012 – 2016) to design at least four (4) major office accommodation fit-up designs (each with a minimum of 50 workstations including construction intended for clients and trades) in the past 3 years.
  • Has project management leadership/experience in delivering four (4) major federal government office accommodation projects (fit-up and construction) in the last five (5) years consisting of a minimum of 50 workstations and for a minimum value of $100,000 each (HST extra) and was responsible for the following:
  1. Budgets (estimates and tracking)
  2. Schedules
  3. Deficiency Reports
  4. Business Cases (demonstrating option analysis)
  5. Progress Reports
