Job Description


  • Assist the project team in management activities including financial, planning and contracting aspects
  • Create and follow the process from beginning to end for 9200’s, Preqs, RFP’s, Monthly Financial Spreadsheets for each project.
  • Provide financial administrative support to suit requirements for the project team;
  • Assist with security clearance process for construction personnel;
  • Establish project administration procedures and / or ensure that project team are kept abreast of new procedures;
  • Provide administrative and technical support of a clerical nature as required to the project team: Develop document and records management system and control process for project teams; Receive incoming mail (both hard copy and e-mail), prioritize and assess urgency of mail and sets deadlines;
  • Participate at project related meetings, prepare/distribute minutes and records of decision;
  • Provide comprehensive project planning and monitoring, reporting using project plan format;
  • Maintain and update relevant project information in manual and/or electronic files; project information might include such things as project activity schedule, status reports, correspondence;
  • Assist with the review of project requirements with specialists, other jurisdictional authorities and stakeholders  

Required Skills

  • Must have a college diploma and relevant training
  • Must have a valid Secret Clearance
  • Five years of experience with project administration within the Federal Government – real property projects
  • Three months in the last 5 years of real property construction project experience with an overall estimated value of $10M
  • Five years of real property office fit-up projects, which involved managing or coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams (ex: architectural mechanical and electrical engineers, interior design, life safety accessibility, structural engineering, costing or acoustics)
