Job Description

• Evaluating Statements of Work (SOW) for completeness and adherence to procurement regulations, policies and guidelines;

• Developing bid evaluation criteria and basis of payment;

• Issuing medium to high complexity Requests for Proposal;

• Evaluating bids against mandatory requirements;

• Award a variety of contracts, including professional services contracts using methods of supply • Providing recommendations to clients regarding the appropriate procurement vehicle (e.g. contract, standing offer or supply arrangement);

• Providing recommendations to senior management regarding award of contract, and obtaining necessary internal approvals;

• Communicating with suppliers, including negotiations and debriefings;

• Performing contract management, including terminations when required;

• Providing guidance to clients on a wide-range of procurement issues, including but not limited to potential procurement strategies and Contractor performance issues;

• Effectively manage multiple clients and procurement files and prioritize issues/tasks accordingly. SECURITY CLEARANCE: Enhanced COMPENSATION: To Be Negotiated LENGTH: Long Term Contract

Required Skills

• Must have a diploma or degree in relevant field and/or significant training

• Minimum of 8 years procurement experience

• Minimum 3 years experience with Federal Government Procurement

• Minimum 1 year of using Public Works Procurement Vehicles

• Previous experience with SAP • Experience developing complex bids
