Job Description

  • Act as PA to President – travel arrangements, expense claims, etc
  • Support the President regarding marketing and event planning activities
  • Preparation and tracking of purchase orders
  • Accurate administration and management of all payroll matters and liaison with payroll company
  • Accurate administration and management of group health and insurance benefits
  • Accurate administration and reporting of payroll, government returns and remittances (EHT, WSIB)
  • Maintain personnel files
  • Monitor sick leave, vacations, and other leave for all employees and liaise with head office
  • Responsible for Quality, Health & Safety, Environment matters & compliance
  • Establish & communicate (with Management) clearly defined QHSE practices for staff to apply
  • Maintain proper training records, training schedule and evaluations according to Training Plan
  • Secure storage of all year end documents in safety deposit box at bank
  • Accurate administration of accounts payable including liaison with head office and accountant
  • Secure storage of bank card and liaison with bank as required

LENGTH: Permanent

Required Skills

  • Relevant diploma or certificate from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 5 years experience in office coordination 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, ethics and integrity essential
  • Ability to maintain confidential employee matters essential
  • Good judgment and ability to manage different priorities
  • Detail and process oriented
  • Excellent time management and administrative skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
