Senior Architectural Project Manager

in Engineering and Technical

Job Description

  • Coordinate and manage the overall organization, administration, and delivery of large projects. Includes delivery of contractual obligations, scope of work, schedules, and business plan targets, and client management
  • Provide leadership, organization, and motivation to an integrated team of architects and engineers throughout all stages of a project
  • Lead an integrated team of architects and engineers in quality assurance and quality control procedures to all deliverables
  • Maintain and develop positive client relations to ensure business continuity and promote business growth
  • Identify and source potential business opportunities to maximize growth and increase market share
  • Identify and resolve all external and internal project risks
  • Lead regular coordination meetings for all architectural and engineering disciplines
  • Provide assistance to Contract Administration during construction commissioning and post-construction stages

Required Skills

  • Post-secondary  education  equivalent  to  a  university  degree  in  Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Additional courses in Project Management are an asset
  • Must  have  between  15-20  years  of  architectural,  building,  project  management,  or equivalent experience in hospitality projects
  • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, decision making, problem solving, and leadership skills
  • Possesses experience and ability to improve functions or units and to achieve objectives
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and other relevant office software
  • Has  advanced  understanding  of  quality  standards  relative  to  architectural  design, principles, and procedures, and construction concepts, relevant building codes, and jurisdictional requirements
