Our Hiring Procedures
When you register with The AIM Group, you will find that our hiring procedures are thorough and straightforward. As part of our commitment to integrity, fairness, and quality, we abide by all provincial legislation, and some new steps in the hiring process are in response to those requirements. The AIM recruiter you are working with is capable of answering any questions you may have, and is always happy to help.
With over 20 years experience in public and private sector staffing, The AIM Group has developed strong relationships with our clients. We have exclusive access to positions in the government and private industry, the majority of which are not publicly advertised. If you register with us, you will have access to these opportunities, giving you a clear advantage in achieving your career goals.
If you would like AIM to represent you for temporary or contract work with our clients, the first thing to do is submit your résumé, which will be passed on to a recruiter in one of our five divisions. The recruiter will review your qualifications and experience, as well as the staffing needs of our roster of clients, to determine how and when those needs might suitably be served by someone of your qualifications and experience. Depending on the outcome of this review, the recruiter will then administer all relevant testing required by AIM and our clients, verify your references, and carry out any relevant security clearances and background checks.
If a position arises which appears to be a match for your skills and qualifications, the recruiter will contact you in writing to formally confirm our belief that you are suitable to be a candidate for employment. You will then be required to sign and return a Confirmation of Understanding of Employment Documentation Form, confirming that you fully understand and agree to abide by the terms of The AIM Group’s Employment Agreement (and Schedules thereto), as well as an Agreement to Attempt to Assign Work Form (to be sent to you later if we deem this appropriate), confirming that you authorize us to take steps to attempt to assign you work with our clients.
